BULGA LOGGING SCHEDULED TO START ON MAY 20
There’s currently about 2000 ha of Bulga forest being planned for logging. About 10 times more than they started last time. At the moment Forestry are saying they will start on May 20.
That is only a matter of weeks away so it’s it’s all hands on deck! We held them off last year – WE CAN DO IT AGAIN!
Let’s come together to discuss what we need to do ahead of May. We’ll gather in Elands on Sunday 14th.
To coincide with the Elands Markets we’ll meet at The Bulga Hall, Elands from 2pm-4pm on Sunday 14th April, 2024.
Get in touch if you want more info. The Greater Glider population in the Bulga won’t survive the logging, so if we want kids in the future to be able to have the thrill of spotting them in the wild, then we have to save their homes.

Can you keep us in the loop when action will be taking place in May. 3 of us want to come from Newcastle but can’t make it in April for the planning meeting.
