habitat destruction is the most powerful driver of biodiversity loss, to quote D. Attenborough from “Extinction”

Bulga tree-sit Diary  day 53

Looking down from rock steady into the area scheduled next for logging  and knowing the density of wildlife in this area,  it really hits home that habitat destruction is the most powerful driver of biodiversity loss, to quote D. Attenborough from “Extinction”. Whilst forest corp. may be able to argue semantics that what they are doing is not deforestation it is certainly habitat destruction. Don’t be fooled, general public, that because imminent climate change disaster has been acknowledged by all but the worst idiots after the drought/fires/floods that governments will get responsible & do all they can to stop it.  It isn’t happening. Labor won’t stop enough new fossil fuel projects. Logging & other habitat loss continues unabated. Albo has revived the hideous east coast offshore gas exploration project which even scomo reconised as electoral poison. So please, for earth’s sake vote for whoever is going to make real change & not just talk about it!
