Forest defenders gather in front of Bulga State Forest, 8th October 2024
The Save Bulga Forest campagin, which is a grassroots organsiation, has now launched a “Chuffed” Crowdfunding fundraiser.
If you can, please donate to our fundraising efforts. Your investment will be used to fund things like purchasing equipment to identify, track or record animal habitat or forest and ecosystem features so we can better protect them. We may also use raised funds to assist with legal costs associated with advocating, defending or protecting the forest. For example, to date 18 people have been arrested for defending the homes of the Koalas and Greater Gliders here in Bulga Forest. Whilst generally we are law abiding people, and we are also engaged in preventative activities, unfortunately the politics of the situation means that often, we are left with only one option – peaceful and nonviolent direct action.
