This morning i saw  a new bird – tiny with an apricot breast fading to fawn, black stripes over head leading to curved honeyeater beak , maybe a  Spiney cheeked honeyeater.

Bulga tree-sit Diary Day 41
Moonrise saw a big yellow smile come over the ridge.   This morning i saw  a new bird – tiny with an apricot breast fading to fawn, black stripes over head leading to curved honeyeater beak , maybe a  Spiney cheeked honeyeater. The new Binoculars opening horizons on the forest floor, was that a logrunner dashing after its dark brown logrunner friend?  The vigorous wing beating noise of an evening is back, still can’t see the culprit. Why are the Brown Pigeons always on the road in the Bulga Forest? Are they collecting stones for their crop?
