“Waking with a symphony of birdsong, to witness the artistic display of colour from a sunrise spectacular, is a mind blowing privilege and honour..”
Bulga tree-sit Diary day 51.
Waking with a symphony of birdsong, to witness the artistic display of colour from a sunrise spectacular, is a mind blowing privilege and honour. Suspended in this mighty ancient being, and observing a forest from high is magical. The magnitude of beauty and intelligence within this space is beyond my ability to capture in words.
I wonder how we humans have overlooked all other spieces to take what we wanted with no care for all other beings. I struggle to understand how humans have continued desecrating so much of our beloved country and continue even with the knowledge that our actions will make conditions unliveable for all.
The trees take hundreds of years to grow and support all life, so many important things we are still to learn are within these spaces.
The urgency to save the thin green line of old growth forest is high.
We cannot replace this When it is gone..it is gone. I am hopeful we can begin a new time of repair and stop this absurd destruction of the best places , most important spaces we have. Our beautiful native wildlife are being made homeless at alarming rates and our endangered and extinct listings are shameful.
Willing we can all get into the oneness of nurturing a world for future generations for all spieces to enjoy!
