Twice Academy Award nominated filmmaker David Bradbury will be in town to show his latest film. The film profiles the local struggle of the Bulga Plateau community to defend their forest from industrial logging and puts it in the context of the evolution of the Gondwana forests.
Bradbury spent time in January at the Save Bulga Forest camp at the Ellenborough Falls as well as filming some of the forest actions.
“I believe there is an undeclared war going on in the mid and far north coast between environmentalists and the logging industry/Forestry Corp which will define northern NSW and its unique biodiversity for the rest of this century,” David Bradbury said.
