30 days ! Every Environment Minister should experience a tree sit to open their hearts and minds to reality. We are each a tiny speck in the ecosystem but have the ability to create so much harm to all.
Day 29, Diary from a treesitter in the Bulga State Forest
So many shades of green, a wealth of aliveness surrounds me, feeding my heart with happiness. Chirrups, tweets, squawks, buzzings all floating around on a gentle breeze. Large white butterflies are making the most of the updrafts, lazily gliding amongst the treetops. Am so grateful to this majestic giant supporting the sit so steadily. Feel so safe and in harmony with this beautiful space, and to top it off, I have a perfect book to enjoy while here

This tree knows this valley- has watched the arc of the sun across the sky, been pummelled by thunderstorms and bathed in moonlight.
In the human sphere time slips through a hole in my pocket.

We, the Children letter to Mid Coast Council
We, the children of Elands and surrounding communities, strongly oppose the logging of Bulga Forest, and any future logging plans in the area. We oppose ALL native forest logging in NSW.
